MySoftScout is a curated directory of business software, with news and reviews. It is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, financial or purchasing advice, and you should do your own checks before choosing or buying any product.

A listing means we checked that a product is real software from an identifiable vendor, that its site is live, that it sits in the right category and that it is not a duplicate. A listing is not an endorsement and says nothing about quality. A tool is “reviewed” only where we have published a review, and each review says how it was researched.

We work to keep information accurate and current, but software changes quickly. Pricing, features and availability may differ from what we show, so please confirm the details with the vendor. We provide the site and its content “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you sign up or buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Tools that earn us a commission may be shown more prominently, but this never changes the facts we show. More detail is on our About page.

We link to websites and products that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, terms or privacy practices, and any dealings you have with a vendor are between you and that vendor.

Please do not misuse the site: do not attempt to disrupt it or gain unauthorized access to it or its data, and do not use automated tools to copy the directory in bulk or in a way that burdens the service. Ordinary search-engine indexing is fine.

The MySoftScout name, logo, design, reviews, news summaries and the way the directory is organized belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share links to the site and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Vendor names, logos and product names belong to their owners.

If you subscribe to our updates, our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content or on any third-party product. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may change or discontinue any part of the site, and we may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute will be decided by the courts of Ontario.
